Improve Your Photos – 3 Tips for Beginners
Do you enjoy taking photos? Ever wonder how you can improve your photos with your own abilities?
Today I wanted to share with you 3 tips to bare in mind as you begin enhancing your photography skills.
Tip #1
Avoid Direct, Intense Light. If you wish to create a dramatic effect within your photograph, try photographing your subject before or after noon time or place them near a window, etc. This allows the lighting to stream in gently and cast gentle contrast.
Thankful for my cellphone I took a photo of my hubby while dragging him with me for tea at a Tea House, talk about an amusing experience…
Tip #2
Details, Details, Details! It’s the little things that matter, and it’s in those details that show viewers a story. For example, this wonderful couple was enjoying their Lifestyle session at Mohawk Park. You can feel their happiness & love for each other, as well as see their happy little family. For the actual couple, even now when they look at this it triggers a stronger sense of happiness as they relive that moment.
Tip #3
Take Pictures Everywhere. Have you ever thought, ‘DANG NABBIT! I wish I had my camera!’ I have many times. It usually happens when I run out for what I think will be a quick trip and crap on toast would you believe that I’ve needed it then! Whether it’s your cell phone or camera you never know when something awesome or amazing will happen. In this photo, had I not had my cell phone with me I would have missed this precious moment with my nephew.
The next time you’re going out, give these 3 tips a try!
Until next time,
