Take Time To Replenish

What have you done for YOU lately?

Life is all about trying new things. It’s only through these opportunities that we gain experience. So, take time for you!

As women, it’s built into most of our DNA to care and nurture others even if we’re sacrificing parts of ourselves in the process. If you find yourself losing identity and missing some of who you once were, take a moment to review and reestablish yourself. Do some soul searching, because if the only title that you define yourself as is mom, wife, or single, then something is amiss. You should be ADDING those titles not being defined by them.

Being a mom, wife, or single all have their greatness, but there’s more to you than just those titles. Stop and think for a moment:

  • What else are you?
  • What makes you unique?
  • What do you wish to add or embrace? … and saying you want to be skinny, beautiful, or have bigger (or smaller) boobs does not count! So cut that out right now!

You already are beautiful – you just don’t always allow yourself to see it; your boobs are already perfect for you, you might just need to buy a better fitting bra to witness those ladies LIFT. As for wanting to be skinny – what size really is skinny? Every woman I’ve met has said a different size; for myself, I would be happy at a size 18 (I’m a 22). It is a fact that being a healthy weight is great for you in general, but seriously, perfection is merely an illusion.

Embrace the body you have, the person you are, and if you don’t like the way things are, only you have the power to take time and to make better choices for a happier & healthier you.

So, I challenge you this week to stop and think about what titles or phrases could describe you. I would love to hear what you come up with so I encourage you to share in the comments or talk with me on Facebook.

Until next time,
Be Bold. Be Beautiful. Be YOU.
